Dear Lord of Hosts, creator and all-knowing,

Grant my obedience to You and You alone. Do not allow my humanity to become a stumbling block. Remove my ego and pride, all my stubbornness, all that gets in the way of my loving You with all my heart, mind, and soul.

Empower me with the strength to follow You fully.

Fill me with Your Spirit to trust You completely.

Grant that I live in the Spirit and understand things of the Spirit.

Thank You for ordering my steps and preparing the path. Grant that I follow Your direction willingly and courageously, another of Your points of light.

Send Your legion of angels to protect my family from harm, evil, and temptation. Guide them on their path.
