“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

Dear Lord God,

Thank You for the peace we find when we ground ourselves in You and cast all our fears and anxieties upon You. Thank You for the peace that You long to give us.

Thank You for guarding our hearts and minds from the evil one. It is in You alone that we find peace in a broken world and are able to do all things.

Grant me a humble heart able to see people and things the way that You see them. Grant me humility and emptying of self and openness to Your mysteries, acknowledging the pittance of my human wisdom.

Grant me the power of the Holy Spirit and all of its fruit with a double dose of peace and self-control. Thank You and amen.
