“And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.” Romans 5:3-5

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for how You shape, mold, grow, and test us throughout our lives to form us into a more perfect being and union with You. Thank You for loving us that much.

Thank You for always knowing what is best. Allow me to disdain the desires of my flesh in order to seek the desires that You have poured into my heart.

Thank You for all the ways You keep me humble and hopeful.

Grant me as an effective servant of my Lord, Jesus Christ, today and every day,
