“But you rejected the Holy and Righteous One and asked to have a murderer given to you, and you killed the Author of life, whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses.” 

Acts 3:14-15

Dear Lord,

Forgive all the many times I reject You and instead choose conformity with the world, where I am easily led astray.

Forgive the many times when I consider my own human wisdom as divine, serving as my own god and only calling on the true God when I need something.

Forgive my stench of ego, greed, pride, anger, and impatience.

Forgive when I allow the evil one to win.

Grant that I empty myself daily so that I can don Your armor anew effectively for the battle ahead as a disciple of Yours and a co-heir of my Christ Jesus,
