“And he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. Then he began to say to them, ‘Today this scripture has been fulfilled in Your hearing.” Luke 4:20-21

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for coming to proclaim good news to us poor, bonded in chains and held captive, blind to the evil forces that control us; You are the only path to freedom, for You are the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through You.

Thank You for all the chains that You break, all the miracles that You constantly perform because of Your love.

Grant that I release my ego, pride, and greed so that I can be a reflector of Your love and help to cure the blind, in Your name, Lord Jesus, amen.
