To the One Seated on the throne and the Lamb, the One Who was, Who is, and Who is to come.

Grant that we seek you. Anoint our eyes with salve so that we can see. Remove our stubbornness and self-righteousness. Remove our grudges and jealousy. Loosen our grip on our ego and pride. Grant that we surrender to Your Word, and do not attempt to modify it with our own human precepts because we protest the

parts of it we find difficult.

Forgive my heresy and lack of obedience. Grant me an earnestness with my repentance. Thank You for shaping, reproving, forming, disciplining me as I walk away from my old skin into a new life with Christ, transformed into His likeness, living without fear, seeking the Salvation that Jesus offers through his sacred wounds and infinite grace and mercy.

Today I choose to carry my cross and walk the steps of Golgatha with You. Use me to help grow disciples. Shine Your light upon me so that I may radiate it. In the name of Jesus,
