“The good person out of the good treasure of the heart produces good, and the evil person out of evil treasure produces evil; for it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks.”

Dear Father God,

I praise You, and I am in awe of Your power and creation and how I am but a grain of sand among all that You call to do Your will.

Father God, thank You for the reminders to don Your armor daily, lest I lose individual battles throughout the day. Without Your armor, I am the weaker opponent, allowing the evil one a clean shot.

Grant me a heart of flesh; grant me a mouth that speaks the heart of Jesus; grant me the strength that is only found through Him; grant that I empty myself so that I can find You.

I pray this through Jesus the Christ, the good shepherd, the alpha and the omega, amen.
