'“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I tell you?’” Luke 6:46

Dear Jesus,

Forgive me for all the years that I lived with You as my Savior but not my Lord.

Thank You for never giving up on us, expecting the best, and always being available to heal our afflictions.

We are blind sheep that often flee from You, preferring worldly answers, thoughts, and beliefs over what would actually heal. How quickly we abandon You for false hope!

Help us with our unbelief, our lack of faith, our lack of hope, our lack of trust to surrender it all to You as You surrendered it all for us. Forgive our pride, ego, and greed, accepting a smaller reward over what You would give us and want to give us.

Help me today to live less as a hypocrite as I call You, Lord Jesus. Amen.
