“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.”

John 15:1

Dear Heavenly Father,

We praise You and thank You for removing every branch that does not bear fruit; our idols, addiction, greed, ego, and cold hearts, because of not abiding in the true vine.

Thank You for the fruit we bear when we abide in the True Vine; and for the pruning we undergo, in order to bear even greater fruit. ​​Thank You for the trust and obedience required to be a fruitful branch; truly grafted to our Lord Jesus.

Grant that today every branch grafted into the True Vine, Jesus, bears additional fruit; all glory to You.

Thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus, the True Vine, the Word Made Flesh, our Savior and our Lord. Amen.
