“But the one who hears and does not act is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the river burst against it, immediately it fell, and great was the ruin of that house.” Luke 6:49

Dear Jesus,

Grant that I live with You as my Lord, eschewing the desires of the flesh.

Grant that I am obedient to Your Word and not to the world.

Grant that I remove my ego, pride, and greed so that I can step willingly into Your calling.

Grant that I listen for Your voice and that I am able to recognize it, limiting all the noise around me.

Grant that I serve You daily, praying without ceasing, giving thanks always, acknowledging You in all things.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, amen.
