Dear Heavenly Father,

We acknowledge that every wound on the body of Jesus is a sign of our own dysfunction, our arrogance, our greed, our self-justification, our wanting to play god, our total lack of acknowledging Your love and power.

Jesus taught us that if we ask, we will receive. If we search, we will find. If we knock, You will open the door.

I entreat You that You send Your Holy Spirit. Fill us with love, joy, peace, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Grant that we create much fruit and prosper.

Grant that we place all our trust in You, the truth, and not deceived by the devil and his many dominions who prowl the earth looking for the destruction of souls.

Grant Your providence and make straight my paths.

In the blessed name of Jesus, the sacrificial lamb, His holy blood, His sacred heart, my savior and Lord. Amen.
