Dear Lord Jesus,

Forgive us the many times we come to Your supper with darkness in our heart. Help us to see Judas in ourself. Open our eyes to that we are not led by Satan like sheep to a slaughter. Open our eyes so that we can see the hypocrisy in ourself. Grant that we see people as You see them, and that we are always willing to serve them and wash their feet because You love them and we should care about all Your children, especially those only You know in the womb.

Thank You for loving us all so much. Thank You for loving the Father so much that like Isaac, being fully willing to be sacrificed as the promised son because it was the Father’s will to redeem us from the grip of sin.

I pray for the courage, humility, and conviction to repent fully and often for all transgressions against others and especially to You my Lord. Amen.
