“Jesus answered, 'Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I have come to call not the righteous but sinners to repentance.’” Luke 5:31-32

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for how You draw near to us when we draw near to You.

Thank You for loving me, a sinner in need of repentance.

Thank You for how You heal us when we submit to You.

Forgive my stubborn pride and unwillingness to trust in You. Forgive my impatience and lack of compassion. Forgive me when I put myself first.

Thank You for the power of prayer and Your willingness to answer and to heal.

Thank You for the protection that You provide my children and how You draw near to them.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, amen.
