“Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
Dear Lord Jesus,
You are the only way, the only truth, the only life. Forgive us when we lose touch with the fact and allow the world to rule us, which seeks to divide and kill us, so much so that it is considered normal.
Forgive that we do not come to You and allow Satan a foothold in our lives, and spiritual darkness to abound with all its debilitating effects.
Forgive that we ease our burdens in addiction and anger instead of coming to You and laying our burdens at Your feet.
Forgive how we continue to crucify You daily with our lack of trust to surrender it all to You as You surrendered all to us.
Thank You for Your mercy, grace, rest, and peace, Lord Jesus, Savior and King, Good Shepherd, whose flock know Your voice. Amen.
