“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.” Luke 6:36

Dear Father in heaven,

I praise You, and in the midst of all the noise in this world, I thank You for always being in control and guiding our steps.

Grant that I empty myself sufficiently daily so that You may fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I can be a vessel that is useful to You.

Remove my ego, pride, and greed so that I can receive the fruits of Your Spirit so that I can extend grace and mercy to others to glorify You.

Allow me to see others through the eyes of my Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, as people in need of a physician that can only be healed by the loving touch of Jesus, whose glorious name is worthy of praise every time my lips move and in whose name this prayer is written. Amen.
