Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for Your boundless mercy. I know You weep and bleed daily with the violence You see in the world because of man turning their backs to you. Thank You for continuing to

pardon us, the sins of mankind, for over 2,000 years.

When man asks "Who should we follow?" Grant that the answer is You, for You have the words of eternal life. Grant that the hearts of men are softened today. Grant that we feed the hungry, greet the stranger, visit the prisoners, clothe the naked so that we extend mercy so that we can receive mercy.

Thank You for how You work in our lives. Thank You for answered prayers. Continue to lead me to people who need me and to people I need. Grant that I willingly carry my cross today. Protect me, protect my family from the evil one. Grant that we radiate Your light brightly. Grant that we are a blessing to others today.
