“You are those who have stood by me in my trials ... and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.” Luke 22:28,30
Dear Lord,
Thank You for Your apostles; those You selected to follow You.
Thank You for their willingness to surrender it all for You. Literally walking away from the world in order to find true fulfillment, their true purpose. Thank You for their joy. Thank You for their willingness to die for the truth, a martyr’s death.
Thank You for how they are honored today and thank You for how You honor them, with thrones in Your kingdom, “judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
Thank You, Lord Jesus; thank You for how You stay with us during our trials. We love You. Amen.
