My Lord, My God,

Your goodness surrounds me like a shield. When I trust in You, my path is made straight. Grant that I trust more fully in You so that Your will be done for my life and that You be glorified. Your dreams for my life are so much bigger than my own. Grant that I am a blessing to everyone I meet because of my relationship with You, a child of Yours, a Co-heir in the kingdom because of Jesus Christ, my Savior and Lord.

Grant that my armor today is well-fitting and I have an iron grip on Your sword and shield as I traverse the valley of darkness and Satan's many minions who worship things of this world. Grant that all my thoughts are of things above, where Christ is. Grant that my family radiates the love of Christ and are patient and kind with others. Use them for Your pleasure, Your will, so that they live life abundantly, that they seek first the kingdom. l worship and I am in awe of You.
