“Do all things without murmuring and arguing, so that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine like stars in the world.” Philippians 2:14-15

Dear Lord Jesus,

May Your church present herself to You as a spotless bride. May Your church come to You as little children, celebrating each other for Your glory and not their own.

Help us remember that our ways are not the Father’s ways; our thoughts are not His thoughts, no matter how smart or holy we think we are.

As the heavens are higher than the earth, so is Your wisdom higher than our wisdom, which masquerades as foolishness.

Lord Jesus, grant that we walk with You so that we may shine like the stars, with surrendered pride as one, as a beautiful reflection of Your church, with loving hearts working together, as You and the Father are one, so that all may believe. Amen.
