“A great number of the people followed him, and among them were women who were beating their breasts and wailing for him.” Luke 23:27

Dear Lord Jesus,

We wail for the number of people who don’t know You.

We wail for the many people who deny You.

We wail for those infiltrated by the enemy.

We wail for those who pray to Satan.

We wail for the pervasive lukewarmness.

We wail for the lack of submission to Your will.

We wail for how evil abounds about us.

We wail for how our churches are attacked.

We wail for our Christian martyrs around the world.

We wail for the Christian persecution occurring today in so many places.

We wail because people can be so evil.

We wail every time it seems that the devil is winning.

Lord Jesus, it is only in You that we can find comfort and peace, life eternal. Amen.
