Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for what You did for us on that cross for a broken world, a world of pride and greed, where human understanding trumps God's truth. Thank You for granting mercy and grace to believers as we navigate the valley of evil and trust to not live in fear, for You are our rock and redeemer.

Eliminate my grip on my ego and pride, and strengthen my grip on Your rod and Staff. Expand my boundaries and resources to do Your will. Lead me to people I need, and to people who need me. Allow me to be a blessing to others because of Your light that lives in me. Forgive, me of all my iniquities and cleanse me of my sin.

Work through me today and allow me to be an example of the graces we receive when we surrender to You. You are in control, working all things for good for those who love You and work according to Your will. Thank You for loving us always and living inside of me.

Dear Jesus, Amen.
