“that you should remember the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets, and the commandment of the Lord and Savior spoken through your apostles.”

2 Peter 3:2

Dear Father God, Creator of all,

I praise You, and thank You for speaking the world into existence, for knowing me in the womb, for creating me exactly for a time such as this, to do Your will, and experience true joy and freedom.

Grant that I release my ego and pride, and greed, so that I can fully receive Your Spirit and hear Your voice.

Grant that I follow my Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, by denying myself and carrying my cross daily, fully surrendered to Him.

Thank You for the words I will receive today. Grant me a humble servant attitude so that those words do not fall on deaf ears. I ask this through my Lord and Savior, Jesus, amen.
