“We ourselves heard this voice come from heaven, while we were with him on the holy mountain.” 2 Peter 1:18

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for taking Peter, John, and James with You to the top of Mount Tabor as eyewitnesses to the transfiguration. What a moment for them to see You with Moses and Elijah!

Thank You, Father God, for clearly conveying to them that Jesus “is my son, my beloved, with whom I am well pleased.”

Thank You, Holy Spirit, for how You empowered the eyewitnesses to change the world and how You empower those today who have been healed to share the Good News in the name of Jesus, the name above all other names. Allow us to continue to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus as we release our ego and pride as we die to self. Amen.
