Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for creation. Thank You for the Light, which cannot be overcome by the darkness. Thank You for the perfection and the beauty of what You designed and the gift of my life to be able enjoy Your creation.

Thank You for Your Word. Thank you for those you chose to deliver your word. Thank You for Your Word made flesh, the son of man, Jesus, through whom we can become your children, full of spirit and truth, grace upon grace. Through whom we can know You as Father, with Your perfect will and purpose for our life.

Thank you for our free will and capacity to willingly surrender our fleshly desires to Your greater plan and joy for our lives. Thank You for increasing our confidence as we walk away from our old skins and walk in our new life with Jesus, full of Your Spirit and its fruits. Strengthen our grip daily on Your sword and shield and loosen our grip on our ego and pride.

Bring us to people we need and to people who need us. Grant me a loose grip on the gifts You bless me with so that I share willingly with others to bring them closer to You, to understand Your love.
