Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for how You work in our lives so that we trust You more and more. Thank You for knowing us in the womb and knowing us better than we know ourselves. Thank You for always moving us in the direction of the kingdom. Thank You for teaching us and directing us to release our ego and pride and chasing the false gold of Satan’s world. Thank You for the pain we realize when we pursue the world, so that we can get back on the right path. Thank You for helping us realize the great victories we find in You and the immense joy when You are glorified through it.

In our own power, we are wretched. When we pursue to glorify ourselves You rightly judge it with Your iron rod.

Thank You for providing us with the faith to live without fear, love You, and trust You always.

You are Lord, Amen.
