“But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by its cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 11:3
Dear Holy Spirit,
Grant that I empty myself sufficiently so that You may fill me as I remove my human and worldly understanding to be guided and directed by You.
Live inside me as I navigate the daily waters and storms.
Grant that I remain steadfast, abiding in You, receiving all the fruits that You offer, and understanding things You reveal.
Grant that I guard my mind, transform myself daily, wield Your mighty sword in order to fight off the serpent who seeks my destruction.
Dear Holy Spirit, lead me to Christ Jesus. Amen.
