Dear Lord Jesus,

I call on You. Be my shepherd. I want to know You and Your voice. If I should ever stray, please come and find me. Lead me beside still waters and green pastures.

Allow me to be still so that you can restore my soul. Allow me to empty myself of ego and pride so that I can help others. Lead me to people I need and to people who need me. Allow me to walk in Your light so that others can find You through me.

Allow me to radiate Your love so that others understand you are the most important relationship in their life, and that relationship must be nurtured and grown every moment of every day. Allow my heart to realize I always need You, not just when I think I might need you.

Thank you for walking with me when I am in the world. Thank You for Your protection against the evil one and his dominions. Your rod and staff comfort me.

You Are king. There is nothing on earth more powerful than Your embrace. Jesus Christ of Nazareth is my triumphant Ruler, forever and ever,
