“He said to me, ‘Mortal, can these bones live?’ I answered, ‘O Lord God, you know.”
Ezekiel 37:3
Dear Lord God, author of life, can these bones live?
Thank You for the rattling; the sound of You bringing the young people back to You. Thank You for the rattling. Thank You for the breath You breathe into them.
Thank You for the faith warriors that You call to prophesy over the old and very dry bones; bones that the evil one has worked hard to bury in the darkness. Thank You for the power of Your word and Spirit to rattle these bones.
Grant that more carry their cross and follow Jesus; becoming a new creation, no longer dry bones, but alive in Christ Jesus, as He abides in them. Forever and ever, amen.
