“Live by the Spirit, I say, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16

Come Holy Spirit,

Grant that I empty myself sufficiently so that You can enter my every pore.

Fill me, live inside me; I pray that You find my heart always willing to accept You and be guided by You, foregoing temptations by the evil one to separate me from You.

Grant that I walk away from the lure of the world and its great promise of fornication, envy, strife, war, debt, offensiveness, witchcraft, resentment, and money.

Grant that I receive the fruits of the Spirit and Your great love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, kindness, and self-control.

I pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior, and my Lord, amen.
