Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for this day. Grant that I use it for good.

Grant that I am effective in sharing all the good that Jesus does for us. Grant that I live this day for You, heartily. Grant that I acknowledge You in all things, giving thanks always, praying without ceasing.

Form me, shape me, guide me, and I will go. Strengthen my grip on Your sword and shield. Loosen my grip on my ego and pride. Lead me to people I need, and to people who need me.

Grant that I am present with You today with a heart of flesh, ears that hear, eyes that see, a neck not stiff. Grant that I am not conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of my mind, to understand what is Your will, and what is good, acceptable, and perfect.

You are my foundation, not shifting sands. Jesus is my Rock, my Salvation, my Bread of Life. Grant that I am not lukewarm but full of the power and energy of the Holy Spirit.

I pray this in the Name of Jesus, through whom I can do all things.
