“Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death so that we would rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead.” 2 Corinthians 1:9
Dear Amazing, All-Knowing, All-Powerful, Creator of All, Father God,
Thank You for the foolishness that arises when we rely on ourselves and our own meager strength and mortal bodies.
Thank You for the emptiness that arises when we go it alone.
Thank You for the despair when we rely on ourselves.
Thank You for how You work in our lives when we trust in You.
Thank You for the joy when we surrender our will to You.
Thank You for listening when we pray.
Thank You for the answers and directions when we listen for You.
Thank You, Lord Jesus, for ransoming the unredeemable like me. Thank You, Lord Jesus, amen.
