Dear Lord God,

Thank You for the power You bestow upon Your chosen. Thank You for how You bless those doing Your will. Thank You for making straight our paths. Thank You for the power of the name of Jesus to drive away Satan.

Thank You for the reminder that many are called, but few are chosen.

Thank You for the warning to beware false prophets wearing sheep’s clothing, those with hardened hearts and unable to fully understand the truth because they would rather have their own way, the way of their limited human understanding of how they think the world should be; and what Your word should be.

Strengthen me daily in the name of Jesus. Call me to follow You and You alone. Fill me with Your spirit and make me useful for You. Reveal Yourself to me and show me the way. Lord Jesus, the name above every other name, Amen.
