Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of this day. Thank You for everything You do for us. We know You work all things for good. Thank You for Your many miracles and may You be glorified in every circumstance.

Grant that I always acknowledge you in all things, giving thanks always, and praying without ceasing. Grant that I sufficiently empty myself so that You can fill me with Your spirit. Loosen my grip on my ego and pride. Strengthen my grip on Your sword and shield. Use me today. Lead me to people I need, and to people who need me. Work through me. Allow me to be sufficiently surrendered so that Your power can transform me and others.

Grow me into the likeness of Christ. Transform me into your purpose for my life. Lead me to people I need and to people who need me. I will rely on You today. Your power, Your strength, through You I can do all things. Without You I am nothing. With you, I am everything.

Grant that I reflect the light of Jesus today. Grant that I am effective in growing disciples of Jesus. Grant that I honor you today with my effort to serve you.
