“No one who abides in him sins; no one who sins has either seen him or known him.”
1 John 3:6
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your love, mercy, and grace that are extended when we surrender to You, not the world.
Every conscious choice to surrender to the world is separation from You; preferring pride and greed to the gifts of the Holy Spirit that You breathe into us.
True surrender is being dead to sin. Allow me to break with the world so that I can release my ego, pride, greed, and sloth in order to empty myself to be filled with the Holy Spirit and all of its fruits. Grant me the grace of a double portion of love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Thank you for what You have done for me. Thank You for what You will do for me and through me. Thank You, Lord Jesus, amen.
