O Lord God,

Grant that I develop and nourish my faith today. Grant that I do not rely on my human understanding but trust fully in You. You guide my steps, Your goodness surrounds me like a shield, You work all things for good for those Who love You and are called according to Your

purpose.

Eliminate my grip on my ego and pride and strengthen my grip on Your sword and shield. Grant that I am a blessing to others today. Lead me to people I need and to people who need me. Grant that I acknowledge You in all things today, giving thanks always, and praying without ceasing.

Grant me a heart of flesh, ears that hear, eyes that see, all of Your divine glorious works. Grant that I rely on Your power and strength today and not my own. Use me today. Grant that I surrender to Your will and not my own selfish desires. Send Your spirit. In You, I place my trust and obedience. Today I walk the road to Damascus.
