In the name of the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit,

Thank You for providing everything that we need. Thank You for filling us with love, peace, joy, patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Thank You for increasing our ability to relinquish our ego and pride and to embrace Your sword and shield.

When we walk through this broken world, when we are attacked because of Your name, when we have to navigate evil on both sides, witness lovers of self, silly notions that are not the truth, we will fear no evil. You are our rock and our foundation. You lead us beside verdant pasture and restore our souls.

Grant that I acknowledge You in all things, giving thanks always, and praying without ceasing. Guide me, shape me, form me today into Your likeness. Grant me a heart of mercy and forgiveness. Let me see Your truth.

Today I walk in faith, not sight. I trust in You and You alone, the Creator of all things, perfect and almighty, Amen.
