"Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who will not get back very much more in this age, and in the age to come eternal life" Luke 18:29-30

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for the truth that we are to deny ourselves; walk away from our former life when You were our savior but not our Lord.

Thank You for the truth that we are to carry our cross; we are to crucify our former life in order to live a new and better one by following YOU in all that we do, blocking out the world and all of its noise that is meant to distract from You.

Today I will choose You and not the evil one. Today, I choose to be dead to sin forever.

Thank You for how You work all things for good for those who love You and are working for Your purpose. Thank You for the dreams for our life that are bigger than our own. Thank You for the joy and peace You deliver, which far exceeds anything that we can do on our own.

Thank You Lord Jesus, amen.
