Dear Almighty Father,

Thank You for Loving us enough to send Your one and begotten Son, Jesus, to bear all our iniquities in a savage and brutal beating. Forgive us all the times we show a lack of gratitude and respect for what has been done for us. Forgive us when we seek the pleasures of the world instead of seeking what is above.

Loosen my grip on my ego and pride so that I can be more accepting of the love and Sacred Heart of Jesus in my life. Grant me a heart willing to serve others with the gifts You bestow upon me. Grant that I sufficiently empty myself daily so that I can be filled with Your Spirit and Your power and strength to accomplish Your will and the task at hand.

Grant that I trust in You fully and that satan and his dominions have no power over me. Use me today. Work through me for Your glory. Sanctify me. Allow me to be a blessing to others today. Lead me to people I need and to people who need me. Grant that I am a pleasure to You today.
