“Whoever does not carry the cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:27
Dear Lord Jesus,
Eradicate my ego and pride as I strive to break free of the world and its many idols, as I find solace in You.
May Your love abound in me more and more, the more I give You control of my life.
Grant that I remove fear, doubt, and distraction so that I can remain in the Spirit, surrendered to You and not the world.
Grant protection against the arrows of the evil one for everyone that You lead to me as we guide them to Your peaceful waters.
Thank you for loving me, demanding that I crucify my old self and follow You in all ways, leading me to true joy and peace, working all things for good when I love You and work according to Your purpose. Amen.
