Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for how You embrace me and are patient with me even though I often fall short. I deserve nothing but You give me everything. Thank You for Your love which is unfailing and Your patience which is always tested.

Grant me maturity in Your word and a hunger to know You more.

Remove my ego and pride so that I can be a better husband, father, friend, and disciple.

As I struggle along the straight path You lay for me, grant me the eagerness to always grasp for Your always outstretched hand.

Grant that I am a blessing to others. Lead me to people I need and to people who need me.

Use me today to glorify You. Allow me to radiate Your light and love to others, faithfully, Amen.
