“When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, ‘Do you want to get well?’”
John 5:6
Dear Lord Jesus,
Pain loves misery, and man loves wallowing in sin and shame; accepting the darkness and loneliness of the world as “normal.”
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your mercy for the broken, lost, and blind. It is the power of Your name that allows us to break free from the dark spirits that prowl the world. It is only through You that those chains are forever broken and we are healed.
Lord Jesus, grant a spirit of love, mercy, and grace. As You prayed that those who believe in You may all be one, I ask that this spirit permeate the believers to heal divisions and scorn. Let this be so; heal the body so that it may be whole; ego, pride, and greed removed from our hearts.
Your name, Jesus, is all power. Amen.
