“But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities, upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

Dear Lord Jesus,

You surrendered all for us, and we should surrender all to You.

Please forgive the agony we cause as we continue to crucify You daily with our actions and indifference.

You overcame the world, and surrendering to You is our only way to overcome it.

Strengthen me through surrender to You.

Through You I can do all things, the One who empowers me.

Grant me the daily humility so that through surrender, I too may carry my cross as Simon of Cyrene helped You carry Yours.

Thank You, Lord Jesus,
