Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for breaking our chains and freeing us from earthly tyranny. Thank You for the reminder that we will be persecuted for Your name’s sake, a name above all other names. Even You were handed over to religious and government leaders, condemned to death, mocked, scourged, and crucified in order to give You life as a ransom for many.

In this crazy broken world of original sin, fill Your church with light, love, and strength, preserving it from danger, evil, and temptation. Multiply it greatly, a multitude of Your servants here on earth, sounding the trumpet, beating our chest, loving and caring for others, fully under Your protection, power, and strength. Fearless as we do Your will. All glory and power forever. Hosanna in the highest.

Your name is power, it is life, it is freedom, it is love, it is joy. It is forever true, the alpha and omega, Amen.
