Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for answered prayers and for working all things for good for those who love you and are called according to your purpose. Thank you for Your angels who work so hard looking after us. Grant them sharp spears to cast against the devil and his helpers as we grow through our day. Grant as we do so that we acknowledge You in all things, giving thanks always, praying without ceasing.

Thank You for providing everything that we need. Grant that we remain humble and do nothing to excess so that we are able to accept the outstretched hand of Jesus. Loosen my grip on my ego and pride. Remove the part of my brain that thinks I can control my own life. Increase my capacity to surrender to Your will for my life. I know Your dreams for my life far exceed my own.

Grant that I rely on Your strength and power so that I can achieve the purpose you have for me. Send extra angels to protect my family against the snares of the devil. Grant that they walk confidently in the loving embrace of Jesus each day, taking up their cross, and anything in their side with appreciation.
