“The Son of Man must undergo great suffering, and be rejected by the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.”

Luke 9:22

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for lowering Yourself to man in order to endure great suffering as a suitable sin offering: Your blood for everyone who chooses You; forgiveness for anyone who asks.

Thank You Father God for loving us this much; having this much mercy; for extending such grace; for sinners such as me.

Please forgive that we reject still today at times much preferring the darkness and false promises of the world.

You are the truth, the way, the life. Thank You for the promises of eternal life when we declare You.

Thank You for what You have done for me, Lord Jesus, Amen.
