“I have given them Your word, and the world has hated them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world.” John 17:14

Dear Lord,

We are such a broken people. We cling to worldly conspiracy theories and love judging others, and refuse to surrender to divine mystery and power.

We tortured You then and we torture You now as we still refuse to surrender to You, instead of preferring to get on our knees and bow before the world and its ruler.

Grant me the strength to not be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of my mind, to understand what is good, acceptable, and perfect.

Lord Jesus, help me,
