Dear Lord Jesus,

You are the way, the truth, and the life. I choose You rather than the world and the life. I choose You rather than the world and its ruler, Satan. I surrender to You Lord Jesus. I do not bend my knee to the evil one. I go to the truth of YOUR word for revelation: to know Your voice. I do not go to Your word for affirmation of my human wisdom. I go to it for You ro speak to me.

Grant that I daily die to self so that I am able to follow You; not the world.

Grant that I daily die to self, so that I am not led astray.

Grant that I daily die to self, so that You can work through me.

Lord Jesus, Amen.
