Dear Holy Spirit of peace and love,

Grant that I come down from my pedestal of pride so that You can work more through me.

Grant me the mercy I so desperately need from my Redeemer and my Lord, Jesus.

Grant that I better prepare myself for the daily battle and thwart the arrows of the evil one. Grant that my entire family does the same.

Grant that my eyes are opened, and my neck is not stiff. Grant that I easily recognize Satan at work.

Grant that I live in the Spirit, not in the flesh. Remove the stain of the world from me.

Grant that I do not fear but move ahead boldly. Grant me the self-discipline that comes with living in the Spirit.

Grant that I am reborn daily, renewed by You to do Your will, with a clean heart.

All these things I pray with all my heart. Hear me, O Lord God, Amen.
