Dear Lord Jesus, Baptizer of Holy Spirit and fire, clearer of the threshing floor, gatherer of wheat, and burner of the chaff.

Convict us, in the little time left, to save the souls of those who work unceasingly for the devil to abolish Your Presence.

Open our eyes to the skepticism, doubt, and hypocrisy that continues to make You suffer today. Help us open our eyes to all the ways You make Your Presencce known to us. Forgive our lack of faith. Forgive us believing the lies.

Thank You for setting the example of how to respond to temptation by the devil: answering, “One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”

Convict us to live by EVERY WORD, not just the words our humanness agrees with or the words we agree with because the evil one twisted them to suit our evil nature.

Grant we worship the Lord our God and serve only Him, Lord Jesus, Amen.
