“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that is taking place among you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.” 1 Peter 4:12

Dear Father God,

Thank You for the reminders that we are not of this world; we are of the body of Christ. To Him be all the glory.

Grant that I set my eyes on things above, in the heavenly place, not on the pestilence of the earth and the preference for the blazing inferno.

Allow me to release my ego and pride so that I can properly discern the path You lay before me, and which are doors You are closing, and doors that You are opening. Allow me more clarity.

Grant me perseverance and strength that only comes from Jesus, the name above every name, my Savior and my Lord. Amen.
